Lens is a first-person puzzle/exploration game developed by capstone students at the University of California, Santa Cruz over 6 months. Created on Unity® software, it features expansive and beautiful stylized environments in two parallel dimensions between which the player can move and transfer objects using the ancient "lens" artifact in their possession.
Lens received the Grand Prize and Best Audio Award at the 2013 UCSC Sammy Awards, and was runner-up for Best Student Project at the 2013 Unity Awards.
While a freshman at UCSC, I had the privilege of joining the Lens team as an environmental prop artist. I contributed various architectural, decorative, and other environmental models and textures using Blender® and Photoshop®, all created with a low-poly constraint and in a dystopian/fantasy style.
